Okay so here’s some legal stuff we’re required to cover.
The FTC says that all bloggers have to disclose how we make money from our blogs (seems fair enough) so here we go.
1. I can make money from the ads that are placed throughout my blog. Some ads are CPM ads, which basically means, if and how much I get paid is based on the number of views the ad gets. There are also CPC ads, which means I get paid only if the ad is actually clicked on.
2. Than there’s affiliate marketing, I post advertisements for affiliates and if anyone clicks on the ad and buys a product on their site, I can get paid a small percentage of that sale.
3. I can receive free products or other compensation in exchange for review a certain product or service (this hasn’t happened yet, but let’s throw this in here for the future). If I ever do review a product, regardless of compensation, I will only ever give an honest review of any products or services.
I’m currently using a couple different companies for advertising: Amazon Associates, Google Ad Sense, Affiliate by Conversant, and Lijit.
